Wordpress Business Analyst in Kansas City KS

Working with the Web Services and Portal team, the Business Analyst will assist in the development and ongoing improvement of a growing portfolio of websites serving the needs of the various businesses throughout DFA. This role will be relied on to elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage the needs of project stakeholders, including, but not limited to the web developers, business owners, customers, and end users. The successful candidate will serve as the conduit between the customers and the development/implementation team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints.?
• Identify project stakeholders and user classes. Document user class characteristics. Identify appropriate representatives for each user class and negotiate their responsibilities
• Document requirements using context, use case, domain and process diagrams. Create glossaries and write requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language simply, clearly, unambiguously, and concisely
• Deconstruct high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements and quality, specified in an appropriate level of detail
• Establish and implement effective requirements practices, including use and continuous improvement of a requirements process. Assist with the development of the organization’s requirements engineering policies, procedures, and tools
• Create, manage, and execute test scenarios and test plans in an Agile environment, including functional, regression and user acceptance testing
• Assist in Functional and regression testing for other projects
• Work as liaison between customers and software engineers to build or customize solutions
• Other duties as assigned.
