What We Need:

  • We need a Warehouse Supervisor responsible for supervising the warehouse team and all functions within warehouse operations

What You Will Do:

  • You will manage staff, set expectations and objectives for department and individuals, while effectively handling all employee relations
  • You will manage oversight of inventory accuracy, shipping accuracy, warehouse management including organization and cleanliness
  • You will continuously improve focus through development and implementation of warehouse operations system improvements, process flow and space requirements
  • You will communicate and partner effectively with other departments company-wide, provide excellent partnerships through appropriate elevation and delegation of tasks
  • You will act as a coach, mentor and trainer for all warehouse management and employees, through development of training programs, and employee feedback
  • You will maintain performance and metrics through consistency of product availability, warehouse productivity, cost reduction and on-time delivery
  • You will develop, direct and maintain a safe and healthy work environment through compliance and enforcement of company standards and procedures; comply with legal regulations

What You Need:

  • Bachelor&##39;s degree preferred
  • Minimum (2) years of experience in warehouse management (in the food industry) with working knowledge of warehouse operations, manufacturing, transportation, or supply chain planning
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement (i.e. Lean Six Sigma Certification) is a plus
  • Experience using a WMS and/or ERP
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Strong technical, problem solving, planning and process skills
