Danone North America is looking for a Warehouse Operator - Danone West Jordan in West Jordan.

Danone North America, has proudly manufactured fresh yogurt in West Jordan Utah since 1997. Please apply if you are interested in a progressive career in a manufacturing environment producing the products you and your family have grown to love: Dannon, Activia, Wallaby Organic and Danimals.

The Warehouse Operator is primarily functioning in the warehouse areas of the manufacturing plant in either the dry materials warehouse or in a refrigerated warehouse transporting the finished palletized yogurt. You will receive your forklift certification on site. The position combines computer work, various warehousing equipment and forklifts in a team environment to achieve challenging production goals. This fast-paced environment requires successful employees to be on their feet most of their shift, be able to multitask, and actively want to develop and grow. In this position you will wear a provided uniform that includes, steel toed shoes, safety eyewear, ear plugs and a hairnet.

The Warehouse Operator position starts at $17.23 hourly and increases to $18.44 after probation. Additionally, Danone's great benefits include the standards like medical, dental, and vision as well as some not-so-standard like tuition reimbursement, gym membership reimbursement and paid parental bonding leave.

Our Ideal Candidate has
  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Open schedule ability (This means you are able to work nights, weekends, swings and holidays if necessary)
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High mechanical aptitude
  • The ability to perform physical demands of:
  • A fast paced environment
  • 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts
  • Continuous walking
  • Repetitive minimal to moderate lifting (50 lbs)
  • Previous forklift and warehousing experience is highly desirable
