This position is responsible for the procurement & sales of Processed Fruit and Vegetable products to internal/external customer base, performs sourcing, ensures quality of sourcing and sales, customer satisfaction, opportunity and risk assessment, departmental improvements, and information exchange with other commodity traders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities\:
Responsible for the procurement and sales of Processed Fruit & Vegetable products (IQF, Juice, Puree); quantities, deliveries according to specs, contracts, and cost price calculations.
Stays in continuous contact with the VP of Sales & Procurement, Traders, Operations and internal/external customers/vendors.
Responsible for managing inventory positions for Processed Fruit & Vegetable products.
Formulates the sourcing, costs and sales budgets for Processed Fruit & Vegetable products.
Ensures optimal customer and vendor satisfaction.
Responsible for handling product complaints from customers and vendors.
Stays in contact with the Accounts Receivables department for assessment of customer payment risks.
Responsible for the results of products in Fruit & Vegetable product group.
Keeps track of the results and suggests correction action plans.
Responsible for the results of his/her Fruit & Vegetable products.
Define all quality aspects towards all product providers and customers (either when buying/selling on a contract base or otherwise).
Follows the product specifications as defined by the quality department and adheres to instructions that differ from the general product specifications if specified by Quality Assurance Manager.
Ensure all suppliers meet supplier approval with the Quality Assurance Manager.
Adheres to company GMPs (good manufacturing practices), safety procedures and all other quality processes.
Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when required.
All other duties as assigned.

Bachelor#39;s degree in Business Management, Economics, Marketing, International Trade, or Agriculture.
At least three years of Processed fruit and Vegetable procurement experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge and Skills\:
Candidate must possess strong organizational skills and effective contract negotiation skills. Must have outstanding verbal, written, multi-tasking and presentation skills. Experience in an import/export environment and successful customer service experience. Ability to solve challenging problems, prioritizes, meet deadlines, and works with minimal direction. Must have a working knowledge of MS Word and MS PowerPoint software, and be proficient with MS Excel software.
Estimated 30% travel to Tradin offices/vendors/customers/trade shows/seminars.
Work Environment/Physical Demands\:
Approximately; 70% of work is performed in an office environment. 30%%0A of work may involve being in the agricultural or manufacturing environment.
