SUMMARY: The Tanker Driver will make pick ups and deliveries using the companys vehicle, load and unload product and/or waste, complete necessary documentation, and foster positive relationships with vendors through exceptional service and timely completion of duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform duties to deliver product or waste water to designated locations.
Read and interpret maps to locate designated areas.
Load and unload vehicle as required.
Sign off with vendors for items received or released; complete and maintain all documentation required for recordkeeping.
Maintain oil and fluid levels for assigned vehicles and arrange for required vehicle servicing as scheduled.
Wash and maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicle.
Continuous mental and visual attention required to drive truck, involving repetitive or diversified work requiring constant alertness or activity.
Responsible for food product quality and safety.
High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Valid class A CDL license, required
Tanker endorsement, preferred
Two (2) years tractor/trailer driving experience, required with some tanker experience.
Ability to operate ELD system, required.
Ability to understand status boards and production schedules.
Follow all company policies including (but not limited to) safety, work rules, GMPs, etc.
Keep work area in clean and orderly condition.
Moderate physical effort required to stack mixed pallets, which is equivalent to occasionally lifting or moving hoses with product heavy weight material or, frequently average weights
Must be able to talk, hear, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, stand, walk, and sit.
Must be proficient in use of hand held tools, such as hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches.
Ability to operate liquid pump.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
