To support our growing sustainability work, we are looking for an experienced Programs Coordinator to join our Sustainability team. The Programs Coordinator is responsible for implementing and maintaining the cooperative&##39;s sustainability framework for identified areas of the business. Areas of program management include but are not limited to drafting position papers, records, and other communications on material topics, creating training materials, measuring results, analyzing areas for improvement, and engaging stakeholders through regular dialogue and reporting

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and day-to-day coordination of DFA&##39;s sustainability program framework, including processes, documentation, assurance mechanism, and reporting
  • Track sustainability program metrics and communicate program status to internal stakeholders
  • Assist with supply chain risk analysis for material topics (e.g. farm level environmental impacts)
  • Act as Sustainability lead for responsible sourcing needs (e.g. ingredient certifications, packaging recyclability, procurement guidelines)
  • Coordinate data collection, quality control, and analysis to meet the Company&##39;s external reporting commitments that include CDP, Sustainable Dairy Partnership, U.S. Dairy Stewardship Commitment, and Social Responsibility Report
  • Track status and progress on customer specific assurance programs for on-farm sustainability throughout DFA&##39;s supply chain
  • Serve as a resource for sustainability pilots, programs, and related initiatives as needed
