Responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of the Finance Senior Manager, the Accounting Supervisor position is responsible for managing and supervising the accounting personnel and all accounting and financial reporting functions in accordance with established corporate accounting procedures and policies, including account reconciliation, financial statement compilation, payroll and management of accounts payable, leases, general ledger and fixed asset system. This position also serves as the primary verification source for Del Monte controls required to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
* Manage standard cost system for production for the Hanford production facility.
* Ensure corporate deadlines are met for forecast uploads and AOP calendars.
* Manage the development and maintenance of Bills of Material (BOM’s), settle process orders and analyze variances.
* Manage the fixed asset and lease systems for Hanford.
* Manage and Approve the Development, maintenance and tracking of Approval Requests (AR’s) and Asset Disposal Request (ADR’s) for the disposal of assets, M&S supplies, and finished goods (donations).
* Manage monthly reconciliations of Construction in Progress (CIP) assets and accumulated depreciation.
* Develop Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and forecasts.
* Complete month-end close procedures including journal entries, account certifications, preparation and analysis of results, in accordance with established procedures and policies.
* Manage end of month accruals for utilities, non-inventoried supplies and payroll.
* Oversee the accounting of lease schedules to ensure proper coding of lease and depreciation.
* Coordinate annual MRO physical inventory.
* Manage the Fixed Asset physical inventory in accordance with company policy.
* Review account payable coding for variable/fixed label line.
* Complete P-card coding and approval.
* Supervise accounting staff of Accounting Senior Analyst, Payroll Senior Coordinator and Accounting Coordinator.
* Review and monitor hourly workforce payroll.
* Approve AP invoices for Hanford Plant.

* Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Business required.
* Minimum of five (5) years of financial and/or accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing/distribution environment/setting.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications including Excel and Access.
* Knowledge of generally acceptable accounting procedures, payroll, standard cost accounting, budgeting, management reporting, and variance analysis.
* Proficient with ERP Accounting software (SAP preferred).
* Experience with utilizing statistical analysis to assist with driving data-based decisions.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skill and ability to manage high priority tasks/projects concurrently.
* Ability to lead and motivate teams to reach common goal.

* Results oriented with the ability to accomplish work in a team environment.
* Demonstrated analytical skills, especially in the areas of process improvement and problem solving.
