Job description:

  • Under limited supervision the Staff Auditor II will work closely with the Director/Senior of Internal Audit and staff in the daily execution of the annual audit plan as well as assist the external auditors with interim, year-end and benefit audits. This position will work closely with the Director/Senior of Internal Audit and staff in the daily execution of the annual audit plan.
  • Responsibilities
  • Ability to coach and mentor interns and/or staff team members in execution of audits
  • Coordinate timing of audits and audit requests with various plant locations
  • Summarize audit findings and prepare reports of findings for management
  • Assist the external auditors with interim, year-end, and benefit audits
  • Participate in enterprise risk assessment; create, implement, and enhance risk model
  • Participate in yearly audit planning and development of audit schedule
  • Participate in and lead financial and operational and compliance audits
  • Review and test compliance with corporate policies and procedures
  • Analyze and review business process and work flow for control lapses
  • Develop system queries to extract data to PC environment for analysis
  • Establish and maintain standard review audit maps and audit procedures
  • Participate in the year-end inventory process
  • Prepare informational reporting to senior and executive management
  • Develop partnerships within the Dawn community
  • Promote strong controls within the business operations
  • Participate in and lead various consulting engagements per management request
  • Participate in fraud investigations including data analysis and investigative work
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to US locations and internationally
  • Proficiency in applying internal auditing standards, procedures, and techniques
  • Excellent analytical skills and writing skills; succinct, clear and factual
  • Maintain high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master&##39;s Degree in Business - Finance/Accounting
  • CPA or CIA preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years practical, hands-on audit field work in highly structured audit group
  • Manufacturing and/or Distribution operations or analyst experience
  • International business skills
  • Desirable: Foreign Language skills
