Job Summary and Mission

  • The Coffee and Tea categories are some of the most dynamic and fastest growing in retail. Consumers\u2019 love affair with these products means that they are looking for leading brands to elevate their daily rituals and to help them explore and discover new things.
  • As a Senior Shopper Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for translating national campaigns into shopper platforms for customer team application. You will also drive understanding of unique customer and shopper needs to advance activation that fosters stronger customer relationships and results. You will collaborate cross functionally to position Nestlé Coffee Partners as the trusted category expert with our customers.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Act as liaison between field shopper marketing managers and the Brand Team to identify new opportunities to gain share within base business, new customers/accounts & strategic pillars
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to Field Shopper team, Brand team and agency partners.
  • Develop and deploy strategic vision for Omni channel ecommerce channel
  • Lead internal and external cross functional groups to influence and facilitate the alignment and achievement of business goals and objectives
  • Create and lead key shopper marketing processes, tools, templates and shares best practices to optimize planning, execution and analysis of all programs
  • Build and maintain multi-discipline relationships within the organization and with customers at the leadership level, including developing and delivering presentations to gain buy in and to drive results.
  • Negotiate vendor agreements, including supply contracts
  • Lead a team of two direct reports

Summary of Experience

  • 7+ years of CPG brand/marketing and/or Shopper Marketing experience
  • 2+ years of traditional CPG Shopper marketing role preferred
  • Previous experience and strong track record of leading others and inspiring teams
  • Advanced analytics, digitally and ecommerce savvy
  • General manager mindset, thought leader and skilled collaborator with strong communication (clear and concise storytelling)
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through
  • Flexible to change and comfort with ambiguity

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor\u2019s degree or 5+ years of US military experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to travel \u2013 Role will require approximately 15% travel
  • Strong collaborative nature; ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
  • Ability to take initiative, develop and seek out creative and innovative ideas with strong project management skills
  • Experience in Sales & Marketing, leading marketing and/ or shopper communication
  • Financial acumen related to managing a budget and ROI analysis
  • Influential and effective communicator proficient in storytelling and negotiating
  • Ability to leverage data and trends to generate insights, and ultimately solutions, that drive new shopper behaviors
  • Understanding of the Omni-channel environment
  • Deep understanding of top US retailers and their go-to-market strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
