Overview & Responsibilities

OVERVIEW

This role will serve as a primary member of the Global Planning COE, reporting to the VP, Global Planning & Logistics Integration.

As a Sr Manager, Globall Planning Data Analytics, and Technology, you will be responsible for ownership of standards, processes and policies related to planning capabilities, including data and technology domains. You will also work with the Global Planning Process & Governance Owner to ensure the governance of the data and systems in use.

This role will define and apply principles across global demand and supply planning to ensure the right data is used in our processes, decision meetings and business reporting. As the planning landscape evolves, this role would be responsible for identifying future requirements for capabilities and technology and partnering with Tech & Solutions on roadmaps and implementation strategies.

You will partner with the Global Planning Hub and Regional Planning leaders to direct how data, analytics and technology needs are being serviced. As needed, this role will help clarify roles and responsibility so that data is governed in the appropriate way. This will be done in partnership with the Global Planning Process & Governance Owner, and the Supply Chain Performance Management COE Leader.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Planning Data Domain Ownership (30%)

  • Global point of contact for Planning data standards that support and decision/policies
  • Serve as the Planning Domain Master Data owner for Global Plan pillar.
  • Provide inputs into Global Long-Term Strategy & Integrated Planning Lead COE role on capabilities that drive the 1-, 3-, 5-year integrated strategies.
  • Recommend and partner with DP & SP Process Owners as well as Process/Governance/KPI role to deliver KPI reports on process health


Planning Analytics Ownership (30%)

  • Develop and maintain a continuous perspective on analytics & methods, in partnership with the Enterprise Data Capabilities office.
  • Provide inputs into Global Long-Term Strategy & Integrated Planning Lead COE role on analytical methods, approaches, tools, skill-sets. Identifies where should GMI further invest in building the next level(s) of planning analytics, to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Continuously identify and communicate opportunities to apply analytical solutions to improve DP & SP capabilities


Planning Product Technology Ownership (20%)

  • Responsible for Planning product ownership. Partners with Tech & Solutions team on the evolution of the technical landscape through product road-maps, and support of current systems.
  • First point of contact to ensure OMP is being utilized the right way by the global organization, including privileges, user profiles, and audit requirements
  • Works directly with the Planning Hub leadership to ensure technology services are optimized for regions
  • Works with Tech & Solutions and SC COE on Planning Digital Road-map


Planning Visibility & Reporting (20%)

  • Primary Planning partnership with SC COE on data visibility expectations
  • Ensures global metrics definitions, global reporting & analytics, performance management standards are deployed with the Pillar
  • Incorporates global metrics bench-marking into Plan metrics benchmark work to help determine glide-paths
  • Active participant on Visibility Ownership Board to support SC governance around DnA / Reporting / Performance Management

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor&##39;s degree
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in supply chain function, with the last few in a leadership position
  • Knowledge of global business strategies, priorities, and constraints
  • Ability to understand and build integrated data & systems for orchestrating E2E Value chain
  • Knowledge of emerging Planning strategies and functional capabilities (cross-industry)
  • Knowledge of GMI data inputs and sources of data
  • Understanding of advanced analytical methods (planning-related), planning technologies and tools, and connectivity / integration with existing company systems and tools
  • Ability to interpret and communicate high level business needs and impacts
  • Ability to closely partner and integrate with Analytics team(s)
  • Experience with data architecture and governance and implementation


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master&##39;s degree
  • Degree in Operations, Engineering, and Computer Science preferred
  • CSCMP, APICS certification
