Description: Our client is currently seeking a Shift Manager
Shift Manager – 2nd Shift

Directs Production for 2nd shift, Supervises production team members and Supervisors in Safety, Production, Quality, Waste, Yield and Sanitation requirements. Works with and supports maintenance, FSQA, warehouse, sanitation, HR.

Food Manufacturing , USDA, HACCP, TPM, GMP’S

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s degree or B.S. in manufacturing operations, management, or related field preferred, or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • 4 years’ relevant work experience in the manufacturing industry; food processing experience required.
  • 3 years demonstrated experience in supervising a large group of employees.
  • Able to delegate; identify and completed training as needed.
  • Ability to manage time and the time of others effectively and efficiently.
  • Prior supervision experience preferred.
  • Must be self-motivated / self-starter. Understand the need to set achievable and realistic goals, and follow through by establishing consistent accountability in an effort to achieve goals.
  • Attention to detail; willingness to address problems and aggressively work towards discovering the root cause and finding solutions.
