We are based in Norwood, Massachusetts, which is comfortably within the Boston metropolitan area. HMF’s facilities include a state-of-the-art plant, and R&D facility, as well as warehouse and Corporate functions. We are focused on continued growth and are executing against various initiatives that include additional product lines, new sales channels, greater penetration of our extensive customer relationships, as well as opportunistic acquisitions. Our success is directly dependent on attracting and retaining the best possible talent across our functions. To this end, we are posting for a strong Senior Financial Analyst.

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual who is interested in joining the Commercial FP&A team in a manufacturing and consumer goods environment. We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to take a lead role in profitability & pricing analysis through advanced data modeling. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Commercial FP&A.


The successful candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment. He/she must be self-motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, resourceful, articulate and demonstrate the ability to work well within a team environment. He or she must be well organized, detail oriented, and demonstrate the flexibility to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Excellent oral and written skills are necessary, as is the ability to interact with all levels of management. The successful candidate also must have advanced Microsoft Excel skills to be able to develop and maintain complex modeling with ease.


  • Update and maintain profitability models, generating P&L reporting by brand, customer, and item
  • Participate in monthly profitability reviews with Executive & Senior Leadership
  • Update and maintain pricing models, identifying the need to initiate a pricing action
  • Participate in monthly month end closing process, analyzing variances to prior year & budget
  • Identify financial risks through advanced forecasting, and work cross functionally to create action plans
  • Play an integral role in providing analysis and reporting while setting the annual operating plan


  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or related field. MBA a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Team player with strong collaborative communication skills who is able to work well across departments
  • Ability to develop advanced modeling through Excel is a must
  • Experience using Microsoft NAV or Business Central a strong plus
  • Self-starter who is flexible and a quick learner with attention to details
