Build a better future as a Senior B2B Customer Support Coordinator for our corporate office Edison, NJ. Job Purpose:

Customer Support Coordinators ensure our customers’ needs (both internal and external customers) are processed and fulfilled on time and in full. Our team works in a fast-paced, B2B environment commonly dealing with complex problems that usually require a considerable amount of time and effort, and often require multiple teams to find a solution. Therefore, a CSC regularly acts as the liaison between our customers, sales, operations, and logistics team to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • On-board new customers, manage and maintain customer account files
    • Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships by regularly communicating with customers to better understand their unique requirements
    • Fulfill requests, answer questions, and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Order Entry & Order Revisions
    • Process customers’ orders accurately and efficiently that are received via email, customers’ portal and/or EDI
    • Coordinate with internal functions (Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, and Logistics) to ensure orders are fulfilled on-time and in full
    • Acquire new orders to meet customer contractual agreements
    • Manage all customer order-related issues, provide ETA updates or late notifications to customers
    • Act as the liaison for communication between Sales, Operations, and other Supply Chain functions to resolve service issues and maximize the satisfaction of our customer
  • Invoicing, Credit Memos and Return Authorizations
    • Assist with the investigation and resolution of any billing concerns and/or pricing issues
    • Responsible for issuing credit memo’s and return authorization’s
    • Invoicing for detention charges or invoice correction
    • Short pay investigations
  • Customer Feedback
    • Responsible for entering service complaints/feedback in our feedback management system
    • Work with multiple functions to manage the investigation process of customers’ complaints/feedback and ensure AAK provides a timely response and resolution back to our customer

Your experience includes:

We’re looking for candidates who are not afraid of taking an active role in shaping our future at AAK, and be able to embrace the core AAK Values by driving initiative, improvement, and innovation, with teamwork and a sense of urgency

  • 3+ years of work experience in B2B customer service or related area
  • Bachelor’s Degree a plus
  • Strong active listening skills with high levels of interpersonal communication including written and verbal communication, and documentation skills
  • Strong problem solving and resolution skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with close attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure, work independently with limited supervision as part of a dynamic team
  • Must have experience with ERP systems
  • Experience with MS Office 365 applications
  • Import/Export Documentation experience, a plus
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US, now and in the future, without sponsorship
