POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, Ragu and working closely with the cross-functional teams and Bertolli Brand Manager as a Pasta Sauce Portfolio Brand Team, the Senior Associate Brand Manager will assist in delivering specified business targets (volume, profit, share) through the development and execution of brand strategy and marketing plan activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to the development of brand strategy and marketing plans to achieve annual business objectives and long-term growth.
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing programs including traditional and digital media, recipe strategy, consumer promotions, shopper marketing, and partnerships
  • Support in the management of P&L and marketing budget; identify changes impacting the budget and proactively communicate implications and recommendations.
  • Manage agency partners; foster collaboration, motivate and inspire teams to deliver on business objectives and marketing initiatives.
  • Lead the cross functional team in day-to-day brand product portfolio management, innovation commercialization, and product/packaging renovation.
  • Perform financial, competitive, pricing and category analysis; identify key insights, trends and brand implications.
  • Participate in new product development activities from concept to consumer research, commercialization, and go-to-market strategy.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS required in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of marketing experience (with MBA) or 5+ years of marketing experience (without MBA)
  • Consumer packaged goods experience within the food industry is highly preferred.
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and problem solve; highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience leading cross functional team, highly collaborative and good listener
  • Strong proficiency in syndicated data tools (Nielsen, IRI, etc.).
  • Some travel required; no relocation available for this role
