SAP Specialist in Hummelstown PA

In SAP, provide support for plant floor transactional entries including but not limited to: monitoring warehouse management system and inventory management system to ensure they remain in sync and any errors that arise are appropriately addressed with root cause analysis performed to reduce future similar errors. MRP Purchasing and backup for Direct and indirect purchasing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide critical support for inventory movements between the warehouse management system and the inventory management system
• Monitor and adjust, as necessary, Warehouse Management system in SAP for negative stocks or material in incorrect bins
• Perform periodic review of material movements for accuracy including production and shipments daily
• Investigate any significant inventory variances
• Disposition of store cheese, rework, samples and material movements from WM to IM
• MRO Purchaser
• Backup for Ingredient and indirect purchasing.
• Perform Inventory adjustments.
• Assist with cycle counting.
• Any other duties given.
• Lead employee educating classes with effective communication skills
• Dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrive
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

• Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity
• Attend required training, including but not limited to, Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)
