Job Posting Title:
Completes assigned sanitation needs using the Master Sanitation Scheduler, which may include but is not limited to, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, scraping, emptying garbage and checking and refurbishing supplies. Returns all sanitation supplies or tools to the sanitation room. Must meet established plant attendance guidelines & arrive at meeting and appointments on time. Perform other duties as may be requested by supervisor so as to effect a safe, clean, efficient operation of the plant. Maintain and update Master Sanitation Scheduler. Performs janitorial functions in all locker rooms and office areas of the Plant.
Contributes to team effort by performing other assigned duties as needed. Maintains cooperative relationship with coworkers and management by communicating necessary information, responding to requests, building rapport and participating in problem solving methods.
Essential knowledge, skills, abilities and experience:
- Ability to work required shift, meet attendance requirements, and work overtime when required.
- Ability to hear signal of forklifts for safety purposes.
- Ability to stand or walk around plant for general cleaning duties.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust and heat.
