Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensures compliance with all Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP)
  • Manages sanitation crew
  • Managing master sanitation schedule
  • Prepares reports on inspections, corrects deficiencies and implements action steps
  • Controls chemicals used in the sanitation process and trains sanitation crew
  • Ensure sanitation crew is trained in all SOPs
  • Develop and present sanitation, GMP, and food safety training programs.
  • Ensure compliance of all sanitation and food safety training programs to ensure compliance
  • Work with USDA and other governmental agencies as needed.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ sanitation experience in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Experience in a USDA facility required.
  • Knowledge of HACCP concepts, cleaning and sanitizing processes
  • Excellent communications and teaming skills.
  • Multiple plant operations preferred.
  • Bi-lingual – English and Spanish preferred
  • Proficient in use of MS Excel and Word
  • Degree from a four year institute
