Summary/Objective

Sales Executive is responsible for sales of OWMC beef products in order to achieve sales revenues and profitability, as well of procurement of such products and inventory management. This role is required to execute specific sales strategies while prioritizing the right opportunities to deliver on expectation of the business. Managing an existing book of business while identifying new opportunities. Collaborate with teammates within our business function to deliver customer solutions.

  1. Maintain agreed upon sales goals.
  2. Actively prospect new business and follow up on customer leads.
  3. Accountable for customer communication related to assigned products.
  4. Communicates monthly goals and workflow performance to management.
  5. Achieve and maintain technical knowledge of products and services.
  6. Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.
  7. Attend all required sales meetings and educational trainings.
  8. Work closely with location management and procurement team to help manage inventory, product rotation, sales volume and availability.
  9. Work closely with accounting to collect on goods delivered.
  10. Travel to plant and feedlots to facilitate new prospects and existing customer tours as needed.
  11. Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.
  12. Conduct and complete any other duties assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Expected to conduct sales activities during normal business hours and occasionally after hours and on weekends.

Travel

This position requires more than 50% travel.

Required Education and Experience

  1. 3+ years Meat Industry in the Los Angeles Area
  2. 3+ years Business to Business Sales
  3. 3+ year Direct Selling to Retail, Wholesale and Restaurants.
  4. Previous Experience in the Hispanic and Asian Market Segments

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. BA Business Management.
