Position Summary

The Sales Controller will be responsible for providing sales support to the Director of Sales and the Sales Team aiming to maximize profitability per unit sales,

Essential Functions

  • Follow-up of all sales activities and will monitor progress made to achieve the budget targets, on a corporate level, on a department level and on the level of individual sales managers.
  • Organizes a clear and efficient follow-up of all sales activities.
  • Supporting the sales managers and maintaining good contacts with middle management and marketing.
  • Is an expert in the use of Excel and MIS.
  • Be able to produce analytical and synthetical reports.
  • Works closely together with all sales teams.
  • Informs middle and top management about the sales process through clear and to-the-point reporting and forecast.
  • Maintaining and updating the price lists.
  • Tracking/filing the sales and distribution contracts.
  • Regularly monitoring the sales/incentives/discounts.
  • Pro-actively addresses all items that impact the achievement of the budget
  • Communicate to team/other departments the status of receivables.
  • Be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

  • One to five years of experience with accounting & reporting or sales controlling.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while respecting different deadlines
  • Sense for figures
  • Proven work experience as a Sales administrator or Sales support agent
  • Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • A team player with high level of dedication
  • Certification in Marketing, Sales or relevant field is a plus
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Multi-tasking
  • Analyzing information
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Knowledge of the food service industry
