We are looking for a Retail Store Manager in Luxemburg, WI.

What this role is all about:
The Retail Store Manager is responsible for effectively managing the retail store operations, pricing, marketing and finances; ensuring quality product and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Achieve financial objectives; scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Complete ROI for store advancements such as technical capabilities (registers, ordering systems, automating ordering, etc.).
  • Identify and analyze current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons.
  • Ensure availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts and maintaining inventories.
  • Formulate pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities, determining any additional sales promotions needs, authorizing clearance sales and studying trends.
  • Market merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyze operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.
  • Create preferred customer list for communication of information and email specials.
  • Coordinate advertising and media opportunities such as newspaper, radio, television, road boards, internet, social media, etc.)
  • Determine marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.
  • Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Secure required State and Local Alcohol licenses; verify individual certifications for team members to maintain compliance.
  • Build strong connections by participating in community events as appropriate/strategic.


The Requirements (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor&##39;s Degree in Business required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Minimum three (3) years retail/management experience required; preferably within the food industry.

The Location:
Our Luxemburg, WI, plant is home to approximately 160 employees. This facility produces mozzarella and provolone cheese, as well as whey protein isolate (WPI).
