General Summary
The Retail Activation Manager serves as the subject matter expert for in-store fixturing and POS solutions including retail shelving, perimeter placement options, and other JBP merchandising solutions. This position is responsible for effectively managing the design of new merchandising solutions, as well as the execution and logistics of existing solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supports Sales Strategy, Brand and Field Sales to guide effective display (temporary and permanent) selection tied to key drive periods, innovation products and/or specific retailer execution.

  • Act as the subject matter expert in retail shelving, point of sale effectiveness, and creation of best in class merchandising vehicles.

  • Work with procurement to drive the strategic direction of key vendor partners (corrugate display, permanent display, door card, on-shelf racking, e-store, etc).

  • Act as the link between field sales and supply chain for new display commercialization timelines, as well as providing data and information as needed to assist field sales in executing display opportunities.

  • Partner with sales strategy to provide accurate forecasts and AOP targets for the finance team.

  • Manage budgets as pertaining to on-shelf racking, door cards and overall POS.

  • Partner with brand, finance and supply chain to optimize the display effectiveness, profitability and consumer tie-in (via shopper marketing or other brand initiatives) for corresponding displays.

Job Complexity

  • Developing a productive working relationship with brand, sales strategy, supply chain and finance partners.

  • Leverage creativity to provide JBP options to our strategic customers and teams.

  • Managing multiple projects at once, over a wide variety of different areas of expertise.

  • Identifying white space opportunities with suppliers and using technology to drive EBIT and create efficiencies in merchandising processes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor&##39;s Degree required

  • Prior internal or external sales experience, minimum 2-3 years

  • Preferred project management experience

  • Navigating and influencing cross-functional partners

  • Creative thinking and brand partnership to create JBP display vehicles

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
