Refrigeration and Boiler Supervisor in Twin Falls ID

Manage the refrigeration systems, develop solutions for energy conservation and safety issues. Manage and implement projects involving refrigeration. Supervise and schedule the personnel within the refrigeration department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Schedules refrigeration personnel to maintain the department for optimal facility operation.
• Supervises operating workforce performance and troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs for all systems in the refrigeration department
• Prepares and supervises preventive maintenance schedules to maintain all systems under the refrigeration department.
• Addresses issues that arise which could adversely impact the operational performance of the facility.
• Ensures that all OSHA and Production Safety Management (PSM) standards
• Ensures all systems are in compliance with OSHA, ASHRAE, and PSM policies and procedures.
• Attends and participates in all training for OSHA compliance, Hazmat, MSDS requirements and regulations, and Ammonia, PPE, and Confined Space training.
• Schedules work crews for 24-hour coverage during the harvest season.
• Works with Operations Manager to recommend necessary plant improvements, designs, and development efficiencies of the mechanical systems.
• Supervision of vendors while on Company property.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Observes all safety rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
• Enforces company policies and regulations, including but not limited to safety and GMP practices.
• Participates on committees and special projects, as requested.
• Assures that positive relationships are maintained and ensure that the Company’s management principles, policies, and programs are consistently practiced.
