Dip Into This Role
  • Set the pace and drive change to impact production results through daily and weekly audit conduct/performance and reporting, direction setting including effective cross shift communication and pass-downs
  • Monitoring plant sanitation in the effective use of chemicals, COP and CIP cleaning processes, ensuring overall cleanliness and sanitation of the facility and readiness for production
  • Monitor and manage sanitation assurance activities, pest control and regulatory compliance programs, and participate in conducting relevant audits as needed
  • Monitor use of documents and SOPs related to product quality standards, food safety, and sanitation
  • Build an engaged and capable team through training, skills development, effective coaching and communication
  • Manage employee attendance, scheduling, overtime and payroll for the team
  • Troubleshoot and resolve sanitation, food safety and overall quality related issues that may arise and identify opportunities for greater efficiencies
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with all cross functional teams
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with all plant teams within scheduled meetings and collaborative projects and action plans.

Recipe for Success
  • Degree in Science, Operations/Supply Chain, Foodservice, or Business Preferred
  • 1 to 3 years Work experience
  • Manufacturing experience and prior food manufacturing experience will be an advantage.
  • Experience in leading teams
  • Ability to work a shift schedule is required, since we are a 24/7 manufacturing facility
  • Continuous improvement mindset
