Join us as our new Quality Trainer
As our Quality Trainer, you will be able to share your safe food production expertise at the Blair Nebraska site without travel requirements. You will work locally to train production operations, maintenance, utility teams, and logistics teams in standard quality and food safety requirements. You will be asked to make training fun, engaging and memorable to support a culture that prioritizes safe food production and collaborative problem solving.

Welcome to Blair Operations
In Blair Operations, we are currently expanding our production capabilities into food production. Recently, Novozymes announced we are entering the Advanced Proteins Solution market with a new state of the art production line at our site in Blair. This role will be driving the development of food safe training programs for all levels of facility employees from front line operations to the site leadership team.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Developing training programs for new hires and existing staff at the Blair, NE facility. Sharing personal stories from previous job experience to ensure a deep level of understanding of safe food production. Highlight risks that arise when procedures are not followed to teams in training. You will have a chance to interact with all levels of employees and stakeholders to spread a compliance culture.

To succeed you must hold:

  • B.S. in Food Science or Microbiology preferred
  • 3 years minimum of food safety background
  • 2 years minimum of training and/or education of operations staff
  • Document control experience a must
  • Experience working in a FDA compliant environment with a GFSI scheme
  • Experience in Training IT systems such as Intelex or Think Zoom a strongly preferred
