The Quality Control Supervisor 2nd shift

Job description

The Quality Control Supervisor will perform all duties as assigned. The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible of the QC Technicians scheduling, will be accountable to develop Food Safety and Quality programs that result in compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures, USDA, FDA GMPs and customer requirements as related to process and packaging of products produced at Rana’s facilities.

Additional Duties:

Participate in investigation of customer complaints

Maintain all instruments and equipment calibrations

Involvement with positive release and Hold/release products

Complete regular GMP audit of the manufacturing facility

Requirements:

Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or any related science

5-10 years of experience in quality control of food manufacturing

HACCP Certified

Basic principles of microbiology and biochemistry, organic and inorganic chemistry

Shall be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point systems

Skills:

Multi-task and leadership skills

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Team player and organized

Mathematical aptitude with analytical proficiency

Professional communication skills
