Quality Assurance Manager in Cambridge MA

Job description

A leading manufacturer is in search of a Quality Assurance Manager. The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for managing and directing all aspects of SQF certification, Quality, and Food Safety systems, including the Prerequisite Programs and HACCP plan.

Essential Duties:

• Sets standards and monitors procedures to ensure food safety at all stages of operation

• Maintain SQF certification for two sites

• Conducts HACCP reviews, updates, etc.

• Conducts regular meetings with the HACCP team to exchange information and discuss new procedures or equipment related to food safety

• Develops, implements maintains noncompliance records procedures

• Reads interpret and cross-reference the accuracy of a large number of records which requires a broad and specialized knowledge of the content

• Creates diverse forms to document and support HACCP systems

• Keeps accurate and comprehensive records using a diverse range of documents

• Develops training and orientation materials about HACCP and related topics (GMPs, sanitation, etc.)

• Conducts formal and informal employee orientation and training in HACCP principles, CCPs, GMPs, etc.

• Prepares materials designed to assess employees&##39; level of comprehension on food safety subjects

• Interacts with suppliers to communicate company standards for the Quality and safety of incoming products

• Makes formal presentations to CEO to describe HACCP system and related updates

• Writes comprehensive procedures for Prerequisite

• Programs the HACCP system

• Practices and promote GMPs and plant safety procedures

• Supports company&##39;s goals and values

• Professionally represent the company at internal and external meetings

• Assist in internal/external audits and regulatory inspections
