QUALITY ASSURANCE LAB TECHNICIAN
Reports to: Quality Assurance Lab Supervisor

I) Responsible for:
- Lab activities at the oversight of the QA Lab Supervisor. Includes all environmental testing in accordance with the testing plan.
- Testing samples in house and preparing samples for shipment when needed.
- Any raw materials, in-process, water testing, or finished products, records results, and communicates these results to appropriate personnel. This is done in accordance with established product testing guidelines and on an as-requested basis. This includes assistance for troubleshooting any production-related problems.
- Samples, tests/analyzes, and reports results of incoming critical raw materials, in-process and finished products. This is done in accordance with established guidelines and as requested for certain raw materials.
- Cleaning and monitoring calibration/calibrates, performs routine maintenance, and completes any optimum performance checks for lab and manufacturing testing & weighing equipment. Maintain certificate updates for calibrations. Also, monitors so as to ensure lab chemicals and chemical lab solutions are at stated concentration, and no out-of-date chemicals are used. Prepares any chemical solutions as needed for the lab and production when needed. Adheres to documented laboratory procedures.
- Prepare and Coordinate with QA Lab Supervisor on testing of Shoe and Hand Hygiene,
- Communicate and help troubleshoot any possible QA concerns to management.
- Maintain lab cleanliness according to monthly lab cleaning schedules
- Communicate with QA Lab Supervisor when samples have been sent to an outside lab
- Assists QA Line Technician with tasks when needed.
- Backup for QA Line Tech if needed.
- Other tasks as requested by QA Lab Supervisor.
