Job Description:

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Role modelling servant leadership behaviors and TreeHouse Values
  • Actively supporting the site's health and safety program by monitoring compliance, identifying and correcting hazards, leading near-miss and incident investigations, identifying root causes, and implementing preventative measures.
  • Promoting quality and food safety by collaborating with site quality team, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventative changes.
  • Participating in and leading internal audit teams (5S, GMP, Safety)
  • Coaching and developing employees, including hourly supervision and future leaders
  • Proactively managing employee training and performance
  • Supervising production activities, as well as providing daily direction to employees consistent with Treehouse cultural expectations and goals
  • Monitoring, reporting, and analyzing plant metrics (efficiency, food quality, labor costs, etc.) and suggesting and implementing improvements on a continuous basis
  • Reviewing production schedule and ensuring that staff and equipment are set up and prepared to meet production requirements
  • Developing and implementing Standard Work, 5S, and centerlines across the entire operation
  • Analyzing, developing and implementing optimal process design solutions
  • Providing recommendations, progress updates, and process expertise to Steering Team
  • Reviewing hourly timesheets and approving hours for all permanent and temporary employees
  • Ensuring the approved level of staffing per production requirements is utilized, including planning and approvals of vacation requests
  • Recommending and testing new equipment, and training employees on usage
  • Adhering to established GMP's and SOPs. Assist in the creation of new policies or procedures as required
  • Facilitating and coaching TMOS meetings and problem solving events
  • Leading and participating in projects and continuous improvement events, including 5S activities, small capital projects, and improvement teams
  • Willing to work rotational 6-day work week during seasonal production period
  • Position is for 2nd shift operation
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills, Experience and Education:
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook; CDC or related Factory MES software
  • Possess ability to deal easily and effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational/time management skills
  • Self-motivated with strong multitasking, analytical thinking, problem solving and leadership skills
  • Ability to effectively present information in verbal exchanges with various departments
  • Experience in leading a seasonal workforce preferred
  • Continuous improvement experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree Required- business, HR or engineering preferred
  • 2 to 3 years of leadership experience within food manufacturing required
