Supervises the Wet Prep, IQF and packaging operations. Works with QA, R&D, and Engineering to improve processes. Formulates plans with QA, Production Manager. Fills production orders timely. Operates the production department in an effective and efficient manner using production goals, GMPs, and Total Quality Management principle. Responsible for employee relations, hiring, discipline, and productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education and Experience:
Requires a BS Degree in a related field or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 3 years demonstrated supervisory experience. Prior experience in the food processing industry is desirable. Must be proficient in computer systems. Bi-lingual abilities in Spanish preferred. Work schedule may include weekends with days off on weekdays.
