Our growth has created immediate needs for the following positions:
Production Line Lead - Food Manufacturing
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Summary: Set up all materials and staff requirements to ensure standard productivity of production and reports any issues to supervisor. In the absence of the Production Line Lead, the back-up trainee (QA Document Certified) may temporarily fill in and assume the position’s responsibilities.
Responsibility or Job/Duty Description:
Ensure all materials are set-up for production based on the daily production plan and provides feedback to supervisor/management when issues may arise.
Ensures all required documents completed with accurate information. Accuracy of materials documentation includes but is not limited to pallet logs, transfer sheets, weight check, and waste.
Ensures employees follow GMP’s and maintains communication with line employees about policies, procedures, and processes.
Prepares operation routine. Records and keeps track of equipment downtime and reports equipment issues to supervision for appropriate maintenance.
Other important or Critical Day to Day Duties or Responsibilities:
? Provide end-of-day documentation to Supervisor
? Material handling function
? Recommend production improvements needed to management/supervision.
? Rotates staff to fulfill all positions, and provide feedback to supervisor.
? Other duties as assigned
Employee or Non-employee Contacts:
? External - Hill Packaging, Bakery Equipment Service
Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:
? High School diploma preferred.
? 2 years food manufacturing experience preferred
Minimum Language Requirements:
? Must be able to speak and write Basic English proficiently. Additional language skills preferred.
Minimum Admin Skills :
? Windows, Excel. Basic typing skills and basic math skills. PowerPoint a plus.
Minimum Physical Requirements:
? Must be able to lift 30 pounds frequently, must be able to work entire shift on feet, and must be able to push 50 lbs occasionally.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
