Assist with financial activities across multipleproduct groups. Primary focus will be working with product group teams to optimize the product group P&L to facilitate and achieve financial results. Work with Product Optimization Directors to lead the product group team (both direct and indirect) and support key drivers in the planning and successful execution of the growth strategy and execution of the plan within the product group. Assiston end-to-end activities of the product group ranging from strategic projects to transactional oversight. Heavily involved in variance tracking and optimization models for the product group.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare optimization models within the Product Optimization Group to determine the ideal product mix and best manufacturing location in order to maximize product group P&L
  • Provide accurate and appropriate financial information to the Ingredient Solutions Finance team for budget preparation, and monthly P&L and forecasting reviews
  • Challenge the data being analyzed and identify opportunities for improvement through recommended corrective actions by analyzing, comparing and interpreting various data streams, both internal and external to the organization
  • Review product costing within SAP at a material level for multiple manufacturing facilities across multiple product groups
  • Assist cross-functional groups (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Accounting) with finance related inquiries in a timely manner
  • Track and prepare variance reports (monthly, annual, and on an ad-hoc basis) for the business, toinclude but not limited to the following:
    • Reporting of business wins/losses to understand changing business dynamics
    • Customer profitability, at a SKU level
    • Operational expenses
  • Engage in ad-hoc analysis to support the growth and development of the business
  • Enter and maintain forecast and budget information in Anaplan for timely and accurate financial reporting for multiple manufacturing sites
  • Consistent review of P&L on a weekly basis for reasonableness and accuracy
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of content for monthly business review decks for product groups
