**Deep experience in Food Science and/or work knowledge of technical sales within the food industry is preferred

  • Revenue Generation (70%)

  1. Actively identify and interact with a minimum of 10 prospects on an ongoing basis. Employee will enter data (phase of prospecting process, next action steps and document meaningful conversations) into Prospect Database to provide updates to manager on a weekly basis. Prospects must be aligned to target segment (mid to large size, privately held manufacturers).
  2. Meet with key accounts already existing in territory on a quarterly basis to maintain relationship and stay updated on business activity. If any business/volume is lost, employee has identified opportunities to regain customer and/or replace with new customer/business.
  3. Exceed minimum growth goal (to be determined quarterly by CEO) in your assigned territory (measured by total pounds of custom blends and commodities)
  4. Follow documented procedures for discrepant material events and/or customer complaints. Participate in problem solving around significant customer issues to ensure a positive outcome.
  5. Bring in a minimum of two (2) new” blend business” (i.e. they are purchasing an custom made product) accounts per quarter while meeting the identified minimum order quantity for each product/account (to be determined during quote process).
  6. Ensure all customer accounts have high credit quality.
  7. Complete a minimum of 8 presentations via Zoom meetings (showcase our product and service offerings, educate on our processes, share what we can do to add value for the customer) in-person or via Zoom, per month on prospective projects (current customers or prospects that fit our target market of mid to large size, privately held, manufacturers)
  8. Collaborate with and provide timely feedback to COO and Director of Product Development during new product introduction process to ensure successful outcomes including ingredient functionality, maintain positive momentum and customer satisfaction, while bringing in new blend business.
  9. Actively manage open contracts to ensure the volume and timeline are honored to completion by the customer . (Ex: if customer frequency of shipments differs from agreement on their contract, proactively address and provide updated forecast to planning)
  10. Proactively address changes in market pricing by providing market information on a monthly basis to customers so they understand any significant changes in their future pricing.

  11. Be a high performing team member
  12. Attend and participate in all performance reviews. Meet with CEO weekly to track progress against quarterly objectives, act on feedback, as well as discuss any successes and/or challenges
  13. Participate in company team building activities.
  14. Implement monthly pricing strategies on all products as per the CEO

    Promote FFE Corporation Externally (10%)

  15. Identify and attend key industry tradeshows that generate new prospects within your territory.

    **While travel restrictions caused by COVID-19 prevent our team from attending industry tradeshows, please allocate this 10% of time to the other categories.
