Position Summary

As technical lead, you will be responsible for the innovation and renovation of our portfolio; in addition to pushing optimization and improvement of projects. You will represent the Technical Application Group (TAG) as subject matter authority in product and processes, allowing you to transfer your knowledge to our factories and internal partners. In this role you will collaborate with both internally and externally to build relationships, as a means of continuously improving your technical skills and personal development.

1.\tImplementation of Innovation & Renovation strategy for the supported product categories in the Market. Implement/execute product/process development activities (e.g. bench top, pilot plant, and internal/external factory) to achieve project goals and deadlines to delight the consumer.

2.\tIntroduction of new products and processes within our factories. Collaborate internally and externally (marketing, T&P, raw material suppliers, etc.) in a team environment to develop, industrialize, and launch new products, quality improvements, compliance, and efficiency cost savings.

3.\tContinuously improve/optimize current products and processes in our factories according to local business needs and supply situation and/or implementation of initiatives. Develop, approve, maintain, and sustain our products, process standards, and specifications.

4.\tEnsure adherence to all products, processes, materials standards. Align with Nestlé requirements (includes 60/40+), external standards, and local regulatory framework. Develop and/or assist in the development of our products and process standards within the Nestlé systems.

5.\tContinuous improvement of technical skills and personal development, while expanding internal and external networks.

6.\tDevelop expertise for product and process mastership within TAG. Develop the competencies required for product and process mastership to enable manufacturing excellence.

7. Provide first line support to factories. Ensure knowledge transfer related to products and process knowledge to eliminate the root cause of assistance requests.

Requirements and minimum education level:
\u2022\tA BS or MS degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field.
\u2022\tPosition requires approximately 20% travel.

Experience:
\u2022\tPrefer minimum 3 years of product or process development experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).
Required skills:
\u2022\tAbility to work in a fast paced and high motivated performance based environment
\u2022\tExceptional organizational skills & ability to support multiple projects and assignments.
\u2022\tStrong communication skills: interpersonal, presentation, oral and written
\u2022\tHighly motivated, problem solver, goal oriented and easily adaptable to change
\u2022\tComputer Skills: Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Power Point, Word, Access
