The primary role of Process Operator is to safely operate all production equipment at or above production and quality standards and CIP systems while maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Process Operators will perform master sanitation and provide assistance to maintenance with preventive maintenance task. Duties and Responsibilities: - Operators must know the type of product, the silo source and all handling procedures involved each time he operates any processing equipment or process. - Must have a full understanding of product flow from the milk silos to packaging department - Ensure all quality assurance checks are performed at designated intervals - Ensure all paperwork is done correctly and completely at designated intervals - Ensure all recording charts are properly documented according to company and regulatory regulations - Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas - Constantly look for continuous improvement and process improvement - Perform all other duties deemed appropriate, necessary, required, or directed by plant management - Safeguard and protect all company assets in his/her care - Make decisions in a timely manner - Anticipate problems and implement solutions - Demonstrate good judgment in safeguarding customer, company, vendor and employee information - Assume responsibility for the attainment of plant goals and objectives - Maintain cooperative working relationships and communications with employees from all other departments and peers - Adhere to all current SOP's, procedures and quality requirements - Obtain and maintain certifications and licenses that are required
