Process Engineer in Valparaiso IN

Responsibilities: 

• Diagnose issues and oversee the repair of equipment – develop tracking and preventative/predictive maintenance 

• Specify material used for systems– vendor review – training – tracking 

• Participate in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives 

• Operator equipment training – develop and update materials used as they relate to equipment. Oversee training of new operators if required. 

• Assist maintenance with complex electrical or mechanical problems when support is required 

• Ensure proper filing of all technical documents 

• Oversee/perform machine upgrades - electrical/mechanical as required to improve up-time or first-pass yield. 

• Provide a safe and productive work environment 

Requirements  

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or related discipline 

• Minimum of 3 years process/manufacturing engineering experience 

• Demonstrated experience working directly on the plant floor with process equipment developing process controls 

• Track record of successful project management 

• Experience in working in a team environment 

• Vital planning, organization, and time management skills 

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills
