Plant Controller

Los Angeles--South Bay (PLEASE--LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)

REQUIRED:

• Cost accounting experience

• Knowledge of bar coding systems

• Experience with ERP systems and data migration

• Must have experience with food manufacturing

• Ability to think strategically and in “big picture” terms, but still roll up his/her sleeves and dive into the details

• Ability to develop financial and tax strategies

• Ability to lead the organization in exploring business opportunities that create value and drive profits

Responsibilities:

• Supervise accounting staff, oversee month-end close process, lead P&L meetings, manage all aspects of accounting and prepare annual budgets 

• Prepare financial analyses of operations and make recommendations to ensure the achievement of business goals/targets.

• Assist CEO in formulating the company's future direction and support tactical initiatives. Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, providing critical thinking and financial acumen to enable the organization to reach its long-term goals.

• Use financial analysis, data trends and market information to anticipate needs, identify operating/financial issues and recommend actions to maximize returns.
