The Packaging department is responsible for the production of several different products, including items used in the medical community. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance within product specifications. By working safely and interacting with other members, you will help promote innovation and problem solving. This position will involve further processing materials from the animal into usable products.
- Perform or learn several job functions within packaging and other departments.
- Maintain all applicable Good Manufacturing Practices and policies.
- Notify team leaders and/or maintenance of problems.
- Use knives and whiz knives in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform all job skills in a safe and precise manner.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Ability to take on future learning opportunities.
Skills and Competencies:
- Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred.
- Ability to perform responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner.

- TEMPERATURE - Will be exposed to wide variations in temperature.
- Ability to work with inside conditions that include exposure to moderate noise levels, moderate odor, and presence of animal blood.
- Ability to fill/lift/carry 30-50 lb. boxes repeatedly.
- Ability to push/pull loin carts and rib racks
