Our Nestle R&D facility is charged with driving innovation and global mastership in the baby food category to meet the unique nutritional and developmental needs of infants and toddlers.
We are currently recruiting for a Nutrition Intern at our Fremont, Michigan location, to start in May or earlier.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide guidance to Product Developers in terms of giving product specific guidance on infant nutrition requirements
- Analyze the global portfolio of Nestlé infant products based on specific nutrients or ingredients
- Search for literature on topics related to complementary feeding
- Conduct nutritional competitive analyses to build knowledge on nutritional profiles of products currently on market
We provide a relocation stipend for interns and hourly payment, which is comparable with other food companies. The internship would be for 6 months.

We require someone with an MS in Nutrition Science (or a similar topic) and preferably with an undergraduate degree in Dietetics. Ideally, the candidate would have just completed their MS and would like to gain exposure to the food industry. It would be an advantage (but not essential) if the candidate has a background in food composition and/or early childhood feeding.
