The National Supply Chain Manager will ensure the customer component supply chain is optimized for the Flying Food Group production facilities to fulfill the customer’s requirements. You will oversee the vendor sourcing and costing process. You will also negotiate and finalize pricing contracts with manufacturers in conjunction with customer procurement team. You will also complete research and provide requested information from customers and our FFG management team. You will plan and support the FFG production facilities with new menu implementation and day to day ingredient supplier support. You will collaborate with other horizontal organizations on management of Supply Chain suppliers and ingredients.


A day in the life……..

Inventory controls-production planning, quantity establishment, ensure availability for product roll out. Usages, open order statuses, restocks, resolve issues. Oversee and coordinate plans for new menu implementation.

Counsel with buyers. Ingredient discontinuations and confirmations.

Product Quality-Mediate resolutions with FSQ teams and manufacturers FSQ teams. Track and provide feedback on performance, quality, and fulfillment rates

Cost Controls-Negotiate new ingredient pricing. Maintain current costs. Cost reductions. Issue and maintain updated pricing letters.

Manufacture, Management and Maintenance-purchase agreements, stocking agreements, credit conflict resolutions and organize, plan and mediate weekly buyers meetings.

Flying Food Group Fresh Food Solutions Business Support-multiple cross functional meetings per week. – General Business – basic office duties (phone, mail, fedex, customer service). Critical situation response-manage urgent customer requests and changes. Supervise staff and comply to HR functions. (Performance reviews, attendance, vacation, etc).  Continuous Improvement Process. Research and provide requested information from both customer and internal management. Interdepartmental communication and support.

Bachelor’s Degree and or 5 or more years in Supply Chain Management.

Energy and Enthusiasm

Can demonstrate experience with project management and team leadership

Strong communication skills (oral and written)

Consistent follow-through with ability to meet deadlines

Computer skills (proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point, ERP Supply chain systems).
