Millwright in Scarborough ON

Our client, a leading food manufacturing company located in Scarborough, ON is looking for an experienced Millwright (433A) to join their dynamic team.

What we are looking for you to do:

• Repair of mechanical equipment including pumps, gear reducers, seals, bearings, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, blowers, and conveyors.
• Competent in TIG welding                                                                   
• Analyze and solve electro/mechanical problems of processing, packaging, and auxiliary equipment, and to assist manufacturing personnel on process related problems.
• Perform established Preventative Maintenance and identify new PM activities, as needed.
• Continuous process improvement implementation and origination.             
• Understand, follow, and implement all safety, food safety, related standards and practices.

The Ideal candidate will have:

• High School degree or general education degree (GED)                
• 5+ years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience, preferably in food industry
• Experience with PLC & troubleshooting is a strong asset.             
• Possess a valid Interprovincial Industrial Mechanic license 433A, or equivalent
