Manager of Quality Engineering in Big Bend WI

This full-time, permanent Manager of Quality Engineering / Quality Assurance / Quality Control is at a stable, established, growing, precision metal machining company. Because their products are used by the military and the aerospace industry, quality needs to be at a higher level than at other manufacturing companies. The successful candidate&##39;s duties and responsibilities will encompass the following:

• Managing internal and external quality audits
• Managing the entire quality staff
• Managing the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Working with all levels of employees regarding quality
• Ensuring the accuracy of calibration and inspection records
• Writing metrics reports
• Overseeing the actions of Material Review Board (MRB)
• Overseeing Root Cause Analysis

Candidates should have a minimum background consisting of the following:

• A degree
• ISO 9001 or AS9100 experience
• Management experience in a quality role
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) experience
• Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) procedures
• Experience handing quality audits

Preferred but not required experience includes any of the following:

• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
• 6Sigma experience is preferred but not required
• CMM procedure experience is preferred but not required
