Primary Responsibilities

The Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for brand innovation and executing on marketing strategy for the KeHE Distributors Exclusive Brands team. This role requires creative and innovative approaches to drive sales through product marketing and partnerships with our internal sales teams. This role supports the development and execution of compelling marketing initiatives and the Brand Sales Manager will serve as a marketing expert on KeHE Exclusive Brands using data insights and overall business knowledge. Essential Functions

  • Implement marketing strategy with fresh and engaging product initiatives.
  • Compile and analyze market trends, shopper trends, and channel knowledge to drive sales growth.
  • Identify, executive and measure marketing tactics to enhance consumer response and drive marketing objectives (love, loyalty, awareness) for our Exclusive Brands.
  • Work closely with the Brand Sales team on go to market strategy and lead the development of promotional plans and think creatively and analytically to balance marketing initiatives
  • Conduct or lead market research on brand development and target marketing projects
  • Manage program activities to optimize sales performances and meet strategic marketing needs while ensuring cross functional education and partnerships to drive sales growth.
  • Educate and collaborate with internal customer facing account management/sales team to drive PODs for Exclusive Brands.
  • Engagement and partnership with leaders and suppliers on sales and marketing strategy and movement of Exclusive Brands products
  • Identify sales projects or sales impediments to allow the team to capitalize on innovative opportunities
  • Prioritization of key objectives/goals and management/troubleshooting of critical issues to ensure attention and focus of the team
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

  • Bachelor&##39;s in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Five (5) or more years in relevant retail or consumer product industry role.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook skills.
  • Familiarity with FDA labelling regulations, good manufacturing practices, and 3 rd party certifications (i.e. USDA Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified) preferred.
  • Experience with syndicated data (SPINS, Nielsen, Spectra, etc.) preferred
