Maintenance Technician in Grand Rapids MI

Roskam Baking Company is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians for our over 2 million square feet of production space. The main goal of our maintenance technicians is to work as a team, minimizing production downtime by proactively responding to maintenance calls and executing preventative maintenance strategies. As a maintenance technician, you will also hone your skills on Allen Bradley PLC’s, Fanuc Robots (stackers, palletizers, wrappers), welding/fabrication, electrical troubleshooting, and more.

Preferred Skills:

• Electrical Experience: 24V to 480V, single phase or three phase
• Welding Experience: MIG, TIG, Stick
• Industrial Maintenance Experience - Troubleshooting and maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment, or military equivalent
• Reading and interpreting blue prints: electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic

Bonus Skills:

• An AA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance a plus
• 3-5 years of previous experience in plant maintenance, machine repair, or military equivalent
• Troubleshooting of PLC’s and experience with Ladder Logic
• Completion of an apprenticeship/journeyman program is desired
