Purpose of Position The Crewleader is responsible for safely maintaining and operating all green bean receiving equipment and to perform assigned responsibilities to meet throughput & recovery goals, produce a commercially sterile product that meets or exceeds the safety, quality and productivity standards.
Perform the responsibilities of training and leading seasonal employees. Work with other plant personnel in a team environment and comply with company policy, regulatory and company standards. The incumbent reports directly to the Green Bean Department Receiving Supervision.
Major/Essential Functions % of TimeTask 30Maintain receiving equipment; including any associated equipment to ensure proper function and productivity 25Operate equipment in a manner that maintains compliance with current processes and procedures and assures a safe, quality product for consumption 25Complete required documentation accurately and audit for accuracy to ensure compliance with approved operating procedures, rules, regulations and product certification 20Organize, train and lead seasonal employees in their daily work activity ensuring their safety while meeting established rules and regulations 100% Incidental Functions (If not done, the primary purpose of the job would not be significantly or functionally altered. Example: Keep work area clean & organized) Administrative duties as required and assigned Maintain housekeeping on a continuous basis within work area(s) Other duties as assigned
Experience and Education Required Statements regarding minimum educational and experience requirements) Post high school mechanical maintenance training or 3-5 years experience Welding and torch cutting experience Basic knowledge of electricity, hydraulics and steam Good verbal and written communication skills
