Sound electrical knowledge base10. AS degree in Industrial Technologies or Trade School11. 5+ years work experience in a Industrial electrician capacity on production manufacturing equipment.12. Ability to asset in design of electrical control system for automation13. Strong capability to troubleshoot electrical systems using a schematic diagram14. PLC troubleshooting experience15. AC/DC control skills16. Understanding of PLC logic controls17. Understanding of VFD and motor control18. Understanding of Pneumatics-solenoid valves, actuators and controls.19. Understanding of hydraulic system operationsDuties and Responsibilities1. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine electrical requirements for equipment installations2. Responsible for all electrical upgrades and improvements from design, documentation and installation.3. Evaluate operational systems and recommend design modifications to eliminate causes of malfunctions or changes in system requirements.4. PLC diagnostics and programming5. Equipment improvement projects6. Production efficiency improvements7. Quality improvements projects8. Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance9. Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, inverters, frequency drives, power supplies, hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.10. Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices11. Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components12. Maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.13. Responsible for performing other tasks as instructed by Manager.
