Basic Purpose and Scope:
The Maintenance IV will be responsible for the engineering design, installation and implementation of communications, PLC, and machine controls for a wide variety of projects.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Perform all job duties and operations in a safe manner, while following all federal, state, and Litehouse regulations and policies- Always
• Analyze and resolve technical problems or assist in solving equipment issues. Troubleshoot various electrical issues within machines, plant controls and the electrical infrastructure that affect the plant operations- 65%
• Assist in capital projects from concept to operation, individually or as part of a project team. Input to equipment design, as it relates to electrical and control considerations- 15%
• Create, update, and install control systems for various manufacturing equipment-20%
• Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor- On-Going
• Maintains clean work area and participates in housekeep throughout the facility and grounds- On-Going
• Must be able to work scheduled shifts and meet attendance requirements- On-Going
• Perform other duties as assigned- On-Going

Supervisory Responsibilities
1. None

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO PERFORM WORK:
• Education: High School Diploma/GED Strongly Preferred
• Experience: 5+ years of experience with Allen Bradley industrial controls systems or similar. For example: SLC500, PLC5 and ControlLogix PLC&##39;s as well as Panelview, Panelview plus and RSView32 HMI&##39;s
• Experience: 5+ years of practical experience with network configuration (Ethernet, RS232 and RS485) as well as PLC programming, validating and commissioning
• Previously held a position where assigned duties primarily required interaction with factory automation. Must have experience with onsite installation, debugging, and device troubleshooting
• Requires experience with the following hardware: VFDs, Process Controllers, Industrial networking equipment, DC Power supplies, Motion control, Pneumatics, wiring/panel and cabling systems
• Must have the ability to create, read and utilize electrical schematics and piping and instrumentation diagrams
• Some technical writing will be required
• Requires knowledge of applicable codes, regulations and standards such as NEC, OSHA, ASME
• Must have strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to express ideas professionally, effectively and efficiently in the common language
• Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task, focus and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
