Nestl Purina is expanding! Introducing Nestl Purinas newest factory in the U.S. in Hartwell, Georgia just shy of 110 miles northeast of Atlanta. Weve recently opened a state-of-the-art distribution center and production facility our first new factory in over 20 years! Were thrilled to be joining the Hartwell, GA community and to welcome as many as 240 new members to the Nestl Purina family by 2023. One more than 100 acres, this 500,000 square foot facility will serve as our most versatile facility with the ability to switch product lines faster and more efficiently than we have ever done before producing and distributing the Nestl Purina brands our customers trust and pets love.
As the Maintenance Supervisor you will oversee, coach and develop maintenance team members in various departments as required. You will also plan and execute the daily work activities for all personnel in assigned areas. You will utilize the equipment and material at hand to meet predetermined quality and safety standards and maintain an efficient operation with the established standards for cost, quality, labor, material, safety, and housekeeping. The maintenance supervisor will also assign team members to jobs and instruct them on the performance of work assignments. You will also schedule special projects and emergency repairs for all departments in need of maintenance support.

  • Assign daily work tasks to team members and monitor task accomplishment.
  • Ensure team members have the proper tools, supplies, and equipment needed for successful task completion.
  • Support factory continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform required training for all employees and conduct behavioral based safety observations.
  • Ensure safety, corrective and preventative maintenance work orders are completed in a timely manner.
  • Assist in budget preparation and reports maintaining a low cost and high efficient operation.
All other duties as assigned
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years electrical or mechanical experience in a manufacturing, industrial, production, or military environment
  • 1+ years of people leadership experience
