Lab Technician-Night shift in Bridgeton NJ

Description:

Take direction from Laboratory Supervisor and/or QA Manager and work with Production Supervisors to maintain overall product quality. Perform microbiological analysis of raw materials and finished products.

• Responsible for Hold/Release/Rejection of finished goods.
• Performs chemical analysis of raw materials and finished products.
• Verifies compliance and alerts management of any deviations.
• Performs weight checks, temperature checks, ingredient usage and distribution, finished product appearance, code date verification and pH testing.
• Responsible for daily finished product evaluations.
• Performs sensory evaluation of all products and environmental testing.
• Flexibility to vary work schedule dependent upon production and staffing needs.
• Follow all company and government policies and regulations (SOP, GMP, LOTO, Safety, etc.)
• Keep all areas of responsibility clean and organized.
• Keep neat and accurate records and paperwork per company and government policy.
• Report all equipment malfunctions and abnormalities to Plant Shift Supervisors, Management, and/or Maintenance.
