POSITION: Key Account Customer Support

Reports to: Key Account Manager

Summary:

Associated Buyers, a natural, specialty, and local food distributor operating throughout New England, is looking for a dynamic and motivated Key Account Customer Support member to join our team.

The position is unique in the organization, interacting specifically with key account locations and teams. Your primary tasks will be to process electronically submitted orders, engage with customer to resolve delivery and credit issues, and work as support for Key Account team.

Our ideal candidate is familiar with computers and has a basic understanding and use of Microsoft Office products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

There are two key functions of this position:

• Customer Support: Your primary function will be processing daily customer purchase orders according to account order deadline. You will review completed route sheets to ensure all customer and department orders are placed and meet minimum order requirements, and that all routes meet weight requirements for shipping. You will assist in the processing of customer credit requests and communicate returns to accounting and warehouse teams as well as provide support to customer to resolve questions and concerns.
• Department Support: You will work with other members of the department to assist in the processing of various reports, communicate route and stop changes, holiday schedule changes and other duties as required.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Reliability in attendance and some limited availability on Sunday afternoon/evening.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills, proficiency in both written and spoken English

Salary Range: $15-17/hr depending on experience
