We are currently looking for an Industrial Electrician to work fixed or rotating shifts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, service and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical controls
  • Utilize predictive and preventative technologies to eliminate equipment downtime
  • Set up and program automated production equipment
  • Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to improve employee safety, product quality and equipment efficiency
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety and Quality requirements when in Production and Storage areas


Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have a red seal certification and a minimum of 5 years industry experience with a strong background in PLC&##39;s, instrumentation and process controls
  • Previous experience with identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
  • Excellent communication, team and people skills
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and flexibility
  • The ability to provide excellent customer service in a demanding production environment
  • Ability to accomplish tasks with minimal direction and supervision
  • Experience in food processing and packaging equipment is considered an asset
  • The ability to work rotating shifts with overtime as required
